My favorite things

 

    뮤지컬 사운드 오브 뮤직.. 

     하나같이 명곡들로 이어지는데

     그 중에서도 My favorite things 마음에 든다.

     영어 분위기를 최대한 살려서 

     구성진 한글로 재구성해보았다. 

    

        My favorite things

      내가 좋아하는 소소한 몇가지

         (fromThe sound of music)

 

 (아마추어의 어설픈 맛)

 

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens

장미꽃에 맺힌 빗방울, 고양이의 빳빳한 수염

Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens

반짝이는 놋주전자 그리고 따스한 벙어리장갑

Brown paper packages tied up with strings

끈으로 묶인 밤색 종이 상자

These are a few of my favorite things

이게 다 내가 좋아하는 것들

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels

크림색 조랑말과 바삭한 애플 스트들 과자

Doorbells and slaybells and schnitzel with noodles

초인종, 차임벨, 그리고 누들을 곁드린 쉬니쯜 요리.

Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings

보름달 아래 멀어져가는 기러기 무리의 날개 짓

These are a few of my favorite things

이게 다 내가 좋아하는 것들

 

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes

새하양 드레스와 파랑 띠의 꼬마 아가씨들

Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes

콧잔등과 속눈썹에도 살짝 내려앉는 눈송이

Silver white winters that melt into springs

봄의 품속으로 녹아들어가는 은빛 겨울

These are few of my favorite things

이게 다 내가 좋아하는 것들

When the dog bites,

강아지에 물리거나,

when the bee stings,

꿀벌에 쏘이걸랑,

when I'm feeling sad

어쩌다 울적해지걸랑

I simply remember my favorite things

좋아하는 소소한 몇 가지를 떠올리다보면

and then I don't feel so bad

그러면 어느새 좋아지는 것 같아요
